Talking bills
If you have trouble seeing or reading your bill, our talking bill service may help. One of our advisers will phone you, read your bill to you and answer any questions you may have. Then we will post it to you in the normal way.
Easy-to-read bills
If you have problems reading the normal print on your bill, we can send you a bill that is easier to read because the print is larger.
Help from others
If a friend or relative usually helps you when you get your bill, we can send it to them direct. This makes it easier for you and them to deal with the bill. If you would like a copy too, please make sure you ask us.
Braille bills
If you would like to receive your bills in Braille, we can arrange to do this for you. We will also send any other correspondence to you in Braille.
Paying your bill
We offer several ways to pay and can help you choose the payment scheme that suits you best.
If you find it hard to pay your bill, please phone us straight away. To discuss your electricity account, phone us on 0845 300 2141*. To discuss your gas account, phone us on 0845 755 2233*. Our advisers will discuss the options that are available to you. Please do not be put off talking to us, because the sooner we know there is a problem, the sooner we can help you.
*We may monitor your call to help improve our customer service. talk customers will be charged a maximum of 2p per minute for 0845 calls. A call set up fee of 6p per call will also apply. BT customers will be charged a maximum of 2p per minute for 0845 calls. A call set up fee of 7p per call will also apply. Price correct as at 1/10/08. If you use another service provider you should check what the cost of the call will be.
